Pastor Dustin Teat is honored and excited to serve as the Lead Pastor of Connect Church . With a heart for people and a deep commitment to the gospel, Pastor Dustin brings a passion for the work of God in and through the local church. His vision is to see individuals transformed by the love of Christ and equipped to make an impact in their communities. 

Before stepping into this leadership role, Pastor Dustin has served as the Planting and Campus Pastor of Connect Church Albertville, where he developed a strong foundation in biblical teaching, preaching, and leadership. His pastoral journey is marked by a desire to lead with humility, passion, and authenticity.

Pastor Dustin holds a Masters of Divinity in Church Planting from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and is continually seeking  to grow his own faith and leadership. He believes in the power of the local church to be a beacon of hope and a place of refuge, where people from all walks of life can encounter the grace of God.

Pastor Dustin and his wife, Lindsey, have four children Tucker(15), Charleigh(13), Ellie(11), and Cai(7). They are passionate about investing in families, building relationships, and fostering a welcoming and inclusive church environment. Together, they are excited to see what God has in store for the future of the church and the surrounding community.

When he's not preaching or leading, Pastor Dustin enjoys watching his kids play sports, building and growing things, and snow skiing! His favorite scripture is 2 Corinthians 5:17, “ Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold the new has come”, which reminds him of God’s power to make us new.
